Cover design for “Será que você vai acreditar?”, the sixth album in Fernanda Takai’s solo career. The idea was to reinforce the surrealist, ironic and humorous aspect of the cover image conceived by artist Renato Larini. The language of collages, the aesthetics of book and archive labels, connecting with the idea of collecting and cataloging. The solution pays homage to an antique editorial design and combines a nostalgic vibe with a contemporary aesthetic.

Promotional packaging design for O Boticário Christmas products in 2018. O Boticario is Brazil’s largest beauty retailer, and for this occasion, the company’s stores offered a series of gift kits, which encompassed product lines in several price ranges. With the theme “The magic of Christmas”, several prints were developed from circular modules. The use of unique finishing touches, such as embossing and hot stamping, engendered a hierarchy among the many kits, according to the products’ price tags and offering options for different audiences.

Cover and editorial design for Fernanda Takai’s fifth solo álbum. O Tom da Takai pays homage to famous Brazilian musician Tom Jobim and 60 years of Bossa Nova. The cover illustrates a meeting between a bird and a carp, alluding to Tom Jobim’s music and Takai’s voice. The simple, loose strokes result in a light synthetic drawing aesthetic, in a direct semiotic link with bossa nova. The typesetting is another essential element in the design, historically found on bossa nova albums, playing a pivotal role in creating a minimalist and sophisticated language.
