Wedding invitation and illustration for Luisa and Igor. The ceremony was planned to take place during a lunar eclipse in Caraíva, a small paradisiac village on the northeast shore of Brazil. Located on a peninsula where the river encounters the sea, Caraiva's waters keep changing colors throughout the day, inspiring the print created for the project. Applied on a poster, which also works as an envelope, and paired with simple typography, the project tries to evoke a beach momentum with shifting nuances.

Vão is João Tonucci’s first book of poems. It comprises forty-one poems written over two years of production. The editorial project gives life to the poetic narrative, transposing the various meanings of the vão (“gap” in Portuguese) into a contemporary language. The minimalist layout has typography as a protagonist, and it is materialized through artisanal processes, such as screen printing. The usual image of the gap as a hollow and free structure is here filled by the sense of emptiness and banality also evoked by the book’s title, outlining the geography of a disastrous every day, sometimes useless, but still half-open.

Cover design for “Será que você vai acreditar?”, the sixth album in Fernanda Takai’s solo career. The idea was to reinforce the surrealist, ironic and humorous aspect of the cover image conceived by artist Renato Larini. The language of collages, the aesthetics of book and archive labels, connecting with the idea of collecting and cataloging. The solution pays homage to an antique editorial design and combines a nostalgic vibe with a contemporary aesthetic.

Cover and editorial design for Fernanda Takai’s fifth solo álbum. O Tom da Takai pays homage to famous Brazilian musician Tom Jobim and 60 years of Bossa Nova. The cover illustrates a meeting between a bird and a carp, alluding to Tom Jobim’s music and Takai’s voice. The simple, loose strokes result in a light synthetic drawing aesthetic, in a direct semiotic link with bossa nova. The typesetting is another essential element in the design, historically found on bossa nova albums, playing a pivotal role in creating a minimalist and sophisticated language.
